Case Study 2: Art Competition

In 2017 fourteen schools in Manchester and Greater Manchester participated in the schools’ arts project. 1000 handmade wooden crosses were sent to the schools with an information letter for parents. The crosses children had decorated were displayed for public to see on the day of the performance. Top three crosses were chosen and presented by Baroness Williams of Trafford with the help of Daphne Stephenson, an award-winning arts teacher.

The BBC also filmed the day and the activities. It was on Songs of Praise on Easter Sunday and you can watch the full video here.
